Escentric Molecules Molecule 2

Certain products I really wish I could keep a secret, just for the fact that they’re part of that -not so little- black book with tips & tricks to look amazing. Oh yes, it’s quite the booklet by now and in the category of fragrances this one earned a spot for sure. Taking fragrance to a whole new level of stripped down, you will only find one molecule of scent in this one.

The first time I read the press file I was a bit skeptical myself as the fragrance offers us an effect rather than a classical scent with ‘top/heart/base’ structure. There’s hardly any way to describe the scent in the classical way like say ‘this smells like roses or grass’. Everyone I asked smelled something different. After using this for a good 3 months I can say I’m in love with it. To me it smells like the air after a thunderstorm, the freshness of your clothing after a walk on the beach when it’s storming and a whiff of salt gets caught in your hair too, bottled sunshine/instant happy mood, …

It’s amazing really and I don’t say that about  a lot of fragrances. Sure some smell nice or have a fancy bottle, but none have ever done what this one has. After you spray it it won’t linger like a toxic cloud of fumes, rather it clings to the skin and as you go about your daily life.. you catch a whiff of it at times. People need to come closer -they will to get a better idea of what on earth you’re wearing- but you won’t smell it yourself constantly. I quite like the fact that it doesn’t do the classic fragrance routine with the drydown. One molecule, one scent, multiple effects.

If there was ever a very strange perfume -if we can call it that at this point- that you just had to try yourself, this should be a top priority. Hard to find so you’ll have to order online or hunt it down, well worth it in the end. Just.. don’t buy it ok? I want to be the only one smelling like this.
