Keeping the hands in mint condition

Handcare is probably one of my biggest gripes. I got an annoying condition of skin dermatitis after getting in contact with the poisonous belladonna. There are quite a few horror pictures on the internet of how scaly, cracked and bleeding hands can look.. yet I don’t have any of that most of the the time. How? Moisturizing the hell out of them and avoiding harsh detergents. Taking care of your hands properly doesn’t take a lot of know how.

What I’ve been loving the past weeks is this new handwash by the body shop. Not a typical store for me as I’m only wowed by their shower gels so far, but the smell of this is .. amazing. They have a ‘male’ range with the hemp seed scent, too bad it’s not my scent at all. This absinthe is a lot better and quite enjoy using it. It’s a fresh scent and it lingers a while, think antibacterial without the alcohol lingering. Love it! Wait till I get to the handcream.

A small pea size of the Nuxe handcream afterwards and I’m good to go. The scent of this one is very strong and resembles almond milk with flowers. Yes it does last for ages so just don’t use too much. Quite moisturizing but it does make my palms kinda sticky so just a quite wipe off on a towel and off we go. You could always slather it on at night but I’ll stick to during the day. At night I use the heavy stuff that works wonders for me.

This sounds great Phil. I recently got an Elemis hand cream but have not yet used it. There’s nothing that gets on my nerves more than that feeling of dry, tight hands so I’m a regular hand cream user. I still have to try the BS Absinthe range though.

I don’t really fancy this Nuxe handcream, it’s way too fragrant and sticky. The absinthe range from TBS on the other hand.. really good.

Almond milk with flowers sounds amazing! I haven’t got the opportunity to try the Bio line of NUXE yet!

It’s a pretty powerful scent that lasts a long time.. so if you like it it’s very nice. Don’t see how you can combine the bodylotion from this with a fragrance.. but a handcream is fine eh.
