Kiehl’s Nashi Blossom & Pink Grapefruit Fragrance

People say fragrance is a very personal thing. That’s why I find myself torn one too many times, trying to describe a scent in words or what memories I have of it. Smelling good is something we all want I recon but scents will always be linked to certain experiences or people in my life. Pink grapefruit is something that reminds me of my grandmother, the one that taught me it was something fresh, yet delicious to drink while making a funny face the first few attempts.

Many have used notes of pink grapefruit in scents for it’s freshness, all having a very different effect in the entire composition. Kiehl’s made a soft fruity base with the sweet tang of pink grapefruit, simple as it is there’s not much I want changed in this one. Inoffensive and unapologetic for being sweet & sour, it lasts a long time throughout the day. It’s a lingering fragrance that tones down after a few hours only leaving subtle traces of it’s former self. Perfect if you only want people close to you to wonder what you’re wearing. It’s unisex as long as you can deal with the soft fruit notes in here. The bottle shows that apothecary feel and I enjoy displaying this on the counter.

Hard to explain so try it out for yourself and let it develop on skin and clothing. My preferred method is to spray some on my wrist and then come back in the evening to see if I like the entire run a fragrance has given me. The initial spray only gives a prelude, you want the entire story and make your own with it later on when you decide to purchase.

Should you like it, there’s a matching showergel & bodylotion to prolong the scent.
