Omorovicza Deep Cleansing Mask
The fact that not every product is worth the hype is something we learn very fast once you get to trying out a lot of products from various brands. We’re lured in by ingredients, innovations, marketing and whatnot.. yet sometimes products don’t need a whole machine of commercials behind it to sell. This Omorovicza mask is one of those products that speaks for itself after a few uses. “Another clay mask like so many” was my first idea when I started to use it. Expectations were normal as can be from a pore cleansing clay mask, as most brands just dry me out in the process and leave my skin screaming for oil & moisture. Loyal readers will know I stopped using clay based masks for a lot of the above reasoning.
What makes this mask so different? Mostly the fact that it didn’t dry out my skin and my pores pretty much vanished. Facial masks are a quick fix or boost for something, with clay masks only being designed to temporary cut down on oil and empty out those pores a bit. I hadn’t encountered a clay mask that actually felt more like skincare than quick fix. The mineral rich content of this product is the main explanation for this action.
It’s fairly difficult to explain how it works but for me this masks is more than just a quick fix. It’s a weekly meetup to get my mineral levels up to par and my skin is a lot softer and luminous in the days to follow. Every single time without a flaw, I apply this all over my face in a very thin layer and massage it in. A lot of clay masks get chunky once they dry, leaving a nice mess all over the place. You cannot move your face in some and almost always ‘apply a thick layer’. I haven’t got time to sit there like a statue and worry about chunks falling off you know?
A thin layer of this worked in all over is enough for it to work. It’s leaves a slight gray cast once it’s dry but it’s as if you have some gray dust on your face. Once you bring it into contact with water it’ll turn creamy and remove very easily. What I would suggest during this creamy stage, or at least this is what I do, is to massage it around a bit like a cleanser. It’s all about getting the most out of this mask because I know it’ll be a big expense for some of us. Honestly you get what you pay for here and need a lot less than other brands. If you were to combine this mask with a washcloth you can skip scrubbing all together, freeing up more money for this product.
In the clay mask department this is my new favorite and I’m very skeptical if anything else will be able to compete with this. Easy to use like a cream, very little needed, skin perks up majorly and pores vanish without drying out the skin. This is a must try and highly recommended by me personally.
A permanent fixture in my favorites where there’s only room for 1 of each type of product.

Great review Phil! Had this on my radar for a while now and after your review I’m definitely putting it on the list.
You’re going to love this if you hate chunky clay masks or ones that dry you out like mad.
I ran out of my Indian Healing Clay (don’t ask how, that tub was freaking massive) and am on the hunt for something new! Not sure I can get Omorovicza here but I will stalk it endlessly.
Those tubs are HUGE, how does one run out of it… Don’t know if Canada is up for it yet, but there’s always online retailers no doubt.
I love a good face mask so thanks for doing this review!
You’re welcome, got a few others coming up too.
Sounds like I should give it a try! I gave up on clay masks years ago, but if this one is indeed SO special, I’m willing to give it a shot!
I gave up on them too, especially the powders you had to mix with water. Messy to say the least. You should give it a go, you’ll be surprised how easy and good it is.
